Description	Snyder Drive will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, for the safety of construction workers within the Woods of Northaven. Snyder Drive will be closed completely during those hours for traffic coming from Northaven, but will be open to local traffic via Thompson Lane. The weekday closures are expected to last into the fall of 2010. Snyder Drive is still a private street and will not be dedicated to the city until construction within the Woods of Northaven is closer to completion. Developers of the Woods of Northaven approached the Jeffersonville Board of Public Works and Safety regarding the street's closure on Sept. 2, 2009, primarily as a courtesy to the Police and Fire departments, who could have to respond to emergency calls within the Woods of Northaven.
